Hey there, I'm the face behind the lens! A creative, compassionate, fun-loving soul with an eye for detail and a heart for humanity.

So, why photography? Let's just backtrack a little, shall we? My story with photography starts as a shy little toddler with a big fear of cameras, and well, people in general. From the age of five, I learnt that if I was the one holding my mum's film camera, I got to be the one excluded from the photo. And that suited me just fine! My first photos consisted of blurry flowers and goofy photos of my siblings with half of their heads chopped off the top of the photo. Don't worry, I've improved a lot since then!

At the age of 13, I begged my parents for my first digital point-and-shoot camera and spent the next three years cultivating a love for photography. That little pink camera went everywhere with me, and even won me multiple first prizes and champion ribbons at local country shows. At 16, I invested my life savings into my first DSLR and dived into a whole new world of photography, learning manual settings, composition, and lighting techniques through trial and error and reading countless online tutorials and blogs, Since then, I have been on a journey of discovering my style and have learnt to love and appreciate all the highs and lows along the way.

In January 2016, I launched Elizabeth Grace Photography from Ipswich, QLD, as my side hustle to pursuing a career in midwifery. Being a midwife has enhanced my passion and creativity as a photographer in realizing that moments in life are fleeting and photos are the means to capture more than how you looked at a certain time, but how that moment and the people in it made you feel alive, warm, and loved.

As much as I love the beautiful landscapes of creation, people will always be my passion. The driving force behind my photography is rooted in a heart for documenting human connection and the authentic joy of special moments. My mission is to capture moments that truly reflect you and your relationship with your loved ones.

Since January 2021, Sydney NSW has become my home base. However, I am currently still taking bookings in south-east QLD, which gives me a good excuse to get back up and visit my family!

More than all this, I am a wretched sinner saved by God's grace alone and struggling through my everyday, just like everyone else. I believe that while God gives me breath, I have been called to live this precious life to the fullest, giving Him the glory which He deserves. Finding photography as my creative outlet and using it to serve others has brought so much joy into my life. And it is only through Christ, I am able to do what I do.

'Grace has brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me HOME.'
